C-suite and Board Succession

The stakes are high! C-suite and Board succession is critical to the long-term success of an organization. Understanding the vision, business context and the leadership required to drive results is key for CHROs when leading succession. Given the criticality of these roles and the dynamics that need to be managed, join us for a discussion with several CHROs regarding how they built critical relationships with their CEOs and Boards, how they prepared and navigated these discussions and what lessons they learned along the way.

Key questions for the session:

• How did you ensure there was a fair and orderly process that all stakeholders supported?
• What data did you utilize to inform decision making?
• What were the critical steps you took to build the key relationships required to have open and candid discussions?
• What is missed by CEOs or Boards that should be part of the equation when considering individuals for these key roles (including the CHRO role)?
