September 12, 2023
The Battle for Talent Rages On
Brian Elliott, Advisor, co-founder of Future Forum and author of How the Future Works
This September will almost certainly mark the fourth annual post-Labor Day "return to office" battle. Even in the face of greater economic uncertainty, thus far in 2023 the labor market has remained astonishingly strong. But some executives and many companies have started pressing for a return to pre-pandemic work norms. Brian will bring together research from Future Forum, the group he co-founded, with new research to help us all understand what the data tells us about the impact of flexible work policies on productivity, culture, connection and innovation. As a group, we'll dive into not just the data, but some of the causes of the disconnect between executives and teams, and how we might bridge the divide.
