HRLF Event Policy

HRLF hosts several types of events including our breakfast programs, pop-up meetings, and member-only roundtable meetings.  Additional event benefits provided to HRLF members are outlined in the HRLF Member Benefits Statement.

Nonmembers may attend breakfast programs and/or pop-up meetings.  Specifically:

  • For a fee, nonmembers that are eligible for membership in the organization are welcome to attend our breakfast programs and pop-up meetings unaccompanied and are limited to attending one of these programs per calendar year as a nonmember.  Registration requests must be submitted in advance; no on-site registrations can be accepted.
  • For a fee, nonmembers that are not eligible for membership may attend breakfast programs and pop-up meetings only if accompanied by a member and are limited to attending one of these programs per calendar year as a nonmember. Registration requests must be submitted in advance; no on-site registrations can be accepted.

Breakfast Programs
These are our general educational programs that typically feature a guest speaker on a strategic, thought-provoking topic.  Nonmember attendance is capped at eight (8) corporate nonmembers and two (2) service provider nonmembers per event, and registration priority is given to HRLF members and their nonmember guests.

  • HRLF Members: free of charge, included in annual membership dues (no alternates or substitutions allowed)
  • Corporate nonmember: $250
  • Service Provider nonmember: $1,000

Pop-up Meetings
Pop-up meetings are intimate, short-notice, virtual meetings on relevant topics that have “popped up” where our members benefit from a timely discussion.

Corporate Member-only Roundtable Meetings
Roundtable meetings are informal, facilitated conversations about best practices within member organizations held exclusively for HRLF Corporate and Honorary Corporate members.  We have three corporate roundtables that meet quarterly: Senior HR, Lean HR & Small Cap, and Talent Management.  HRLF Corporate members may attend one, or all of the corporate roundtables depending on their interests.

Qualified membership applicants may attend one roundtable per calendar year at the invitation of the New Member Recruitment subcommittee.

Service Provider Member-only Roundtable Meetings
Roundtable meetings are informal and provide opportunities for best practice sharing and cross-networking for the purpose of business development held exclusively for HRLF Service Provider and Honorary Service Provider members.

Qualified membership applicants may attend one roundtable per calendar year at the invitation of the New Member Recruitment subcommittee.

Adopted by the HRLF Board of Directors on August 11, 2023.
